I am a true blue Amazon shopper and feel confident buying from their site. I haven't even used the high speed. Great product. The left over pulp could be drier but it makes great compost.
This is my first juicer. As usual the purchase and delivery was flawless. Buying the juicer re-manufactured was not a problem for me. When I turned it on I jumped back and pulled the plug.
I already feel healthier. Make sure to buy the Waring Pro JEX450FR, 850 watt, 2 speed, Stainless steel model and not the white plastic model. This thing is POWER. I clean the filter with a vegetable brush and the rest rinses clean.
My first one arrived and was put to use. I sent the juicer back and it was promptly replaced. First off it is a very good value for what they sell it for.
After using it and packing it away I heard parts rolling around inside the motor. Great service by Amazon. I discovered that one of the screws that holds the motor in was stripped and had fallen out.
I purchased this product after reading all of your reviews. When we unpacked it there was a loose washer in the box and I thought it was an extra part. We are very satisfied
It is heavy duty, has many metal parts and a powerful motor. I was satisfied with its performance.
My kids love the fresh juice. It comes apart easily for cleaning. This is the first juicer I have purchased, and I am very happy with it. It does take up a bit of counter space. I thought the pulp was pretty "dry." I feel overall it is a great juicer for the price. I thought the refurbished price was great. I was able to put up 25 quarts of apple juice the day it came.
I paid 30 for a refurbished and it serves its purpose. i wonder when someone will invent a self-cleaning juicer. Wouldn't pay the regular price though. And doesn't look bad either. This one can be cleaned in the dishwasher but disassembling everything every time and then assembling again is not very fun. It is noisy, but i don't trust leaving it working for long anyway, as it gets hot and I'm afraid it'll go bust.
If you kids are scared, have them go read a book or watch TV in another room while you use the juicer. I put in 1/4 papaya peeled (big one), 1 mango pitted and peeled, 1 cup grapes, 4 small cored apples, 1 orange. The unti is not loud at all, so I do not understand other folks complaining it is too loud. I stuck in 1/4 beet with greens, a tomatoe, 2 stalks celery, 1 bunch of spinach and a carrot. OK, simply put.
Perfecto. Well worth the money and even at the full price it is a great deal.I paid $30, free shipping and $9.95 for 2 years extended warranty. It took more time to put it in than it took to process.2nd test. Really easy that way.The juice container just sits under the juice drain it does not attach, which is kind of a drag, but it works. I am super impressed. So you need to mix the soft and hard stuff together as well as mix bananas with juicier stuff to get a better dilution i guess of the fruit.Use a kitchen dish bristle brush to clean the shredder filter, it took me total if 2-3 minutes to clean it under the faucet. This juicer just fly's through whatever you put in it, hard of soft items in just 1-2 seconds, WOW. I put 1/4 papaya and a banana in to see how it worked with fruit that wasn't too juicy and it worked but some of it was too thick to ginto the juice side and ended up in the pulp area.
The juicer is awesome. It is large, but fits under your kitchen cabinets or where you want to put it. Again it juiced all this stuff in like 3 seconds. For fun. Thanks Amazon. It quieter than a blender or vaccum so that should help you rate how loud it is.I did two tests, one with veg's and one with fruits. 1st test.
